Step 1:

Select "Check-in Vehicle" from the "Actions" menu

Step 2:

Select which type of vehicle you will be adding (Car, Truck, RV, Boat)

Step 3:

Fill in the Add Inventory information

You may either type the full VIN and select Decode VIN to automatically populate the basic fields, or you may use a USB Scanner and scan the VIN on a door jam which will auto populate the fields as well. When you have filled in all required fields and any other you wish, click SAVE. You will receive a saved confirmation letting you know your information has been saved in our system. If you click SAVE and you have not completed ALL REQUIRED fields, a message box will appear showing the missing fields. You must save the vehicle before a CR can be added.

Step 1:

Select the vehicle you want to update. There are several ways to select which vehicle to update.

Select "Advanced" from the Search Menu

Step 2:

Make you choices to limit your search like specific Make, Model etc., then click on Search button

Step 3:

Double click on the vehicle you wish to Update. -OR-

Step 4:

Select "Quick" from the Search Menu.

Step 5:

Now you can enter the complete VIN or just the last 8 digits. If you prefer, you can enter the auction Workorder/Stock number. Then click the "Search" button.

Step 6:

If LiveCRwriter finds the vehicle in Inventory, it will display the Inventory/Equipment/CR Tabs.

Step 1:

Select the "Delete Vehicle" from the "Action" menu

Step 2:

Enter the VIN or Auction WO/SN of the vehicle you wish to DELETE, then click on "Delete Vehicle".

You can also click on "Advanced Search" to select from a list of vehicles.

Step 3:

A confirmation box will appear asking if you are sure you wish to DELETE the vehicle.

Click "Yes" to DELETE the vehicle, click "No" to Cancel.

Step:

On this screen you can set all the equipment options for the vehicle. The available equipment will change according to the type of vehicle added (Car, RV, Boat etc..).

When you've finished selecting the equipment options, click SAVE.
